I like the space beats. I was just vibing to that for a while. The character model design is cool and I like the idea of jumping from planet to planet. The controls seemed to be reversed and I couldn't figure out the objective.
I love how the title says "Not a trilogy". That's funny. The gameplay was hectic and the warp mechanic was a nice surprise. I wish the environments would block the projectiles so I could take cover. Weapon and creature sounds would also have taken it up a notch. I really like the video screen effect!
I enjoyed this game. The narrative was fun, the mechanics were engaging, and the puzzles were interesting. I did not expect this much content! The sound and art were cohesive and matched the retro theme well. Great job!
